Immerse yourself in the timeless art of basketry on this full day course.
Create your own asymmetrical basket with a whittled hazel handle.
Working with various varieties of sustainably harvested willow, choose from a range of earthy tones to design your own unique basket.
Over the day you will learn a variety of techniques including a pairing weave, 3-rod wale and French rand.
This course is suitable for beginners and for those wishing to learn new weaving techniques.
This workshop takes place in the Tractor Shed at Heartwood on High Leas Farm.
Hot drinks will be provided. Please bring your own packed lunch.
